THE AMERICAN PROMISE PROJECT
AT SHEEP-HARNEY ELEMENTARY SCHOOL

![]() Sarah Morgan, PDC Public Relations Director, entertained and encouraged the children during the week as the Cat-In-Hat. |
Children's
education is a major focus of Page Development Company. All employees enjoy
opportunities to help out in the local schools. Page Development sponsored
The America's Promise Project at Sheep-Harney Elementary School from April
11-22, 2005. This project, which incorporated National Library week, encourages
students at Sheep-Harney to challenge their reading goals and to participate
in the creation of a new mural in the schools Library Media Center under the
direction of artist Tunde Afolayan. Author Suzanne Tate also participated
by reading one of her prized children's books for all and attending the Ice
Cream Social for the students who achieved their Accelerated Reading Goals.
For more information about this project, visit the Sheep-Harney Elementary
School website. Information and work by Tunde Afolayan can be viewed at http://www.tundevisualart.com.
